As a fellow CBH Home Owner (August 2007) its encouraging with all the negative media attention as a whole to know that CBH Homes is in it for the long haul making descions that protects our investments and our value in this crazy time. Remember not to lose track of the big picture, meaning Real Estate is truly a long term investment It's the American Dream to own a home, and it is a marathon not a sprint – values go up and down all of the time but USUALLY if you stay in your home for more than 7 to 10 years you will see a return on your investment.

Now is the chance to encourage friends and family to purchase, because in all reality homes sold in your state, town, or neighborhood has a POSITIVE effect on the market regardless of price. It creates demand, and eliminates supply, WOW it's that simple, who would of thought that boring professor from Econ 101 would of ended up making sense :)... It truly is very basic the more homes that sell and the more people that move in to your area the closer we are to an upswing.
One Last thought from the Boise Square One, and that's to quote the ever famous Napolean Hill:
"You can be an optimist. Learn to meet the future head on. Analyze it. Weigh the factors with clear judgement. Then decide upon your course of action to make things turn out the way you want them to. You'll find that the future holds nothing that you ever need fear."
-Napolean Hill-
It is definitely true that investing in a home is a marathon and not a sprint. Just think about your parents' home - if you could buy it at the price that they originally bought it for, you'd be crazy not to do it! They just had to hold on to it for for a significant amount of time for the value to increase to where it is now. Buy a home today - imagine where you'll be years from now!
